CHEMICAL EQUATION & BALANCING

1. Write the chemical formula :

  • Potassium Bromide
  • Hydrogen Sulphide
  • Aluminium Sulphate
  • Ammonium Phosphate

2. Convert the following into Equations :

  • Hydrogen sulphide gas burns in air to give water and sulphur dioxide.
  • Barium chloride reacts with aluminium sulphate to give aluminium chloride and barium sulphate.
  • Potassium bromide+ Barium iodide → Potassium iodide + Barium bromide.
  • Potassium metal reacts with water to give potassium hydroxide and hydrogen gas.

3. Balance the following equations :

  • FeSO4  →Fe2O3 + SO2 + SO3
  • CH+ O2 → CO2 + H2O
  • H+ N2 → NH3
  • Fe + H2O → Fe3O4+ H2
